General Approach
Dr. Albright believes that a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and genuine collaboration, coupled with the delivery of evidence-based treatment, is the best avenue for growth and change. He has warm and irreverent clinical approach, and he often uses humor and radical genuineness to help his clients build the life they want to live. Dr. Albright often integrates values and meaning-making into therapy, as he believes that introspection into what is truly important in one’s life is essential to building a life worth living. He also works actively to take a culturally-informed approach to therapy, with the belief it is deeply important to balance the delivery of gold-standard, evidence-based care with the wisdom that clients bring from their own lived experiences
